Do I really have to repeat myself? He missed three tackles. The fourth he dropped off deliberately so his teammate could pinch the ball and has been incorrectly attributed as a miss. Even if he had missed four, none were costly and an 88 percent success rate is far from terrible. And just look at those other numbers. You need to abandon the fiction he can’t play. Elliott Was off from the 50th minute til the last 10…. And in the last 10 players like Fogarty and Starling were panicking and trying to go side to side too early instead of through the middle. He hardly saw the ball despite running dons hood decoys. If he had come off a bit earlier and played that middle 20 of the second half, he probably would have clocked up close to 200m.

Elliott ran for almost 150m, made plenty of tackles and racked up 6 tackle busts. If you actually think he did nothing apart from finish off a try, you are clueless. No, I think the majority of the forum is in on the joke with me … but like every good joke. there has always been a nugget of truth to what I have been saying about Elliott.
