Account issues

For some reason notifications are not appearing to me and whenever I turn on new chat messages notifications it automatically turns off when I back out of it I don’t know what to do

Above is what I have received for weeks now when I go to a logged in page.
I've refreshed the page and still have the same issue.
Tried to take a screenshot and post it here, to no avail.

I just clicked on Papa Emeritus' name and no option to PM said user was offered in the popup.
Same with you, yet I tried going to your profile page, which also failed to afford that option.
I can not interact in any way on the logged in page at all, does not matter what I seek to do.
I'm not even able to log out.
This whole experience has been weird!
 
Clear the cache in your web browser, sounds like u have an old cookie
 
It appears my login cookie has been discarded/deleted by either the site or the browser (FF) perhaps a combination of both.
Checked it to see what my PW is, as I have it saved and don't log out, and it's gone!
Also now temporarily locked out from repeated failed PW attempts, and unable to reset as email address has suspended my account :/
Last thing I need, is more problems, even minor ones like this.
When it rains, it pours.

Managed to reset the PW, yet experiencing weird login/logout issues, where I travel between pages, and it randomly shows me as logged in or out, even after refreshing it!
Not sure what is actually happening, yet figure sharing in case there's something awry.

Tried clearing Cookies, again.
Appears at this stage to fixed it.
Weird!
 
Hi mod, got issue with login. Had been logout. Changed password. When i tried to login with new password i got msg already logged in.

Try clearing cookies /cache in your browser. For instructions google "clear cookies [your browser name i.e Chrome]"
 
Morning ladies. Moey here. I can't log into my account as I can't access authy and don't have my back up password.

How do I log back in. Thanks you in advance
 
Not sure of a few things....what is authy and what is a backup password? If you are locked out and need a password reset, you will need to join as another user, and pm me. You will need to answer some questions to do a password reset, based on info i can see but the public cant. Once we get you going on original username will remove the duplicate
 
He is probably talking about an authenticator app like google authenticator. If you do not save your backup codes and you lose the device you are fucked. I lost my instagram for like a year once, it was so hard to get it back.

Hes been back on for while already, just didnt note it here. I turned off 2 step verification weeks ago and did a password reset, and hes posted since
