I didnt know this but in 1995 Phil Gould cut Rod from the Roosters 1st grade team which allowed him to join the Dogs. That same year Rod played one hell of a GF and sealed the premiershp for the dogs with a try. Nice one Gus.

He had one hell of a side step.
