5 players out for Penrith & they look like a bottom 4 team

This just proves Ivan cleary is a bad coach. If he was a great coach he would be able to get the team up for a game regardless of players missing.

The last 2 weeks they look like the bulldogs.

Compare this to Bellamy so consistent regardless of who he has in the team.

Also coaches job is so overated.

In reality clubs just need some talent finders, someone to recruit well, identify young talent, convince players to join a club.

Don't need a coach, just need player finders.

The players don't need coaching they just need mental toughness and be fit.

I agree. Bellamy is a supercoach and Cleary isn't anything special. He's just lucky a good group of naturally talented players have come together by other means. We have neither it seems.

They look like us because we use similar systems where we're overly reliant on the halfback, if the halfback isn't performing to a certain level then the entire system breaks down.

This is why I have been critical of Baz, it's clear we don't have a halfback so don't play with a system that is overly reliant on one, it's fucking stupid. Cleary is also an idiot, he lucked out big time with the roster, limited injuries and a system that suits his top squad...yet when changes are required he totally bottles it and can't manage to tweak a few things or make more like for like changes.

I do not rate Cleary at all... but the Panthers have put together an awesome squad across the board --> size, strike, utility, depth, experience, youth, workrate etc.

Cleary is an average coach.
Bennet or Bellamy would have gotten this B grade panfers side a win today

100% lol it’s not rocket science you need the cattle and a good spine is key without it you are nothing panthers have showed that last 2 weeks
