went yesterday to watch the moorebank shield trials in penrith to watch my mates son
Man some of these penrith junior clubs well developed and organised, big club houses with a friggin gym,no wonder kids love there footy up there

In syd they build you this little shitty club house, some of them havent changed in 20-30 years. Most dont even provide you seating area or shade

And now i know why moorebank dont perform in there grades, 10minutes into the game kids already gassed,big forward runs into the defence, gets smashed,gets up and loses the ball.
They couldnt read any of the block plays coming at them
Hardly ever saw the winger come in for a run

Its like a boys fun club, just playing with the boys kind of thing

I don't know if it's govt funding or clubs funding decisions that have not allowed development. Hammondville oval has the space, access etc to have an all encompassing complex - fields, gyms, game day sheds, parking, sports cub, transport but seems to have been left behind other areas n venues. Just in terms of a field what was done with Eric Tweedale at Granville, and the Windsor stadium complex was impressive.

Only first half but flegg is disappointing simple eerors. Poor reads and as such getting beat 5 tries to 2. Not sure if this is the team. But scored 4 there tries though left and right centers/wingers. Not combining or reading the defences well. Only half time however
