Tell you who was good as (they all were) last night but hasn't been mentioned a lot.. Yeo. Some people, mainly Queenslander's tried talking him down as an Origin player.. dude was making crazy good pcm.

As most have queried idk what the go was with Jurbo, team morale? Who knows anyway it didnt matter..Madge should put Max King in next year for the Blues 2peat.
Wonder what Madge will do, assist somewhere in 2025? Maybe Parra? Who else could best use his skillset and has a spot idk..would he work with Bellamy and take Ryles spot?

I guess Madge just likes Jake for that "softening up" period and nobody would argue he's a good defendender.. Madge seems to have a big emphasis on the team culture and that makes sense given its a 3 game series. I reckon Terrell May will make a case, but I think of any Dogs forward it would be Curran to make a case.

I reckon if Madge can win at least one more series, he might look to stay on as Blues coach.

I was listening to Aaron Woods and Jai Arrow talking about Dylan Edwards.. Woods was saying that Mitch Moses was telling him how Edwards is just constantly counting the numbers, and he'll be telling the halves which side to go.. Mitch said it made his job a lot easier.. I'm sure most fullbacks get involved at times, but you don't often hear much of a mention about fullbacks when it comes to game management.

I reckon there's grub tactics that most people are ok with if it's their team, given they're just part of the game since Storm brought them in, but then there's blatant poor sportsmanship, and that's Queensland at home.. not all of them, but Pat Carrigan is somebody in particular who I always thought was a reasonable guy, but his antics in that game just make him seem like an absolute flog. Harry Grant as well.. he seemed to be more focused on ruck interference than his own game.. Reed would have been the much better option.
