I cannot see him playing 6. Burton is a certain starter there. With 45 utilities following him that could all play 6.

He is a Smokey for some time training in the #1 roll if you are looking at him playing away from the centres.

We need him firing in the centres. We are well off with players that can fill on the wings (Skelton, Wilson) etc and players that can cover the halves (Mann, Hutchinson) but we lack any depth in the centres. If it’s true that Burns has left the club, it leaves Kiraz and Xerri as our only real centre options (assuming Chrichton plays fullback)

But that’s why we are in the position we are in. We had Topine playing in the centres at times last year. Just because they can “fill in” at centre it doesn’t mean they can do a good job. We need specialist players in their positions

Flopine isn't fit to lace Salmon, Mann or Hutchison's boots. Flopine isn't a first grader let alone fill in depth player.

You’re missing the point completely. You don’t put makeshift players in positions unless you have no choice (e.g. an injury during a game). Salmon, Mann and Hutchinson are not centres
