Im still scratching my head over the releasing of AVA.
Considering the depth, Ava was perfect for the money he was on?
I haven't got the slightest of clues about our recruitment nor do i have any intel, but I am just guessing that Gus will bring in a couple more props, or promote a couple from below, if we have any?
We have lost alot of leadership and experience with the loss of Jacko and Vaughan

even if we have another middle coming possibly, for what he was on he would have been good back up unless Gus thinks a younger prop can step up and do the same job

Yeah can't really bring myself around to start one of Burns or Allan but 1 of them will probably start (Kiraz flexible).

I don't trust TPJ at lock since there's more thinking involved when comparing to prop and Thompson's struggled a bit imo so I think he will have an easier time off the bench when there's more fatigue in the game (also smaller body).

He brings aggression, a motor, footwork and a handy offload...basically a lot for what we lack. He did drop off a cliff the last year or so but I think he still has a decent couple of years in him at a new club. Parra will also have to foot part of the bill or potentially take a player off our hand (are the Allan links real) so it's a decent deal. I used to go to the same barber as him so would've known for sure if it was a year or so ago lol.

King/TPJ/Brown starting with Thompson/Sutton off the bench is an okay middle. You then got Pele, Patolo, potentially RFM if he isn't starting.... definitely a better buch if forwards that last season
