I didn’t notice Burton there today. Pengai Jnr and Kikau were there but did not play. Kiraz outstanding, Preston impressed and Patolo caught my eye the most.

6 tries to nil, all beautiful tries. It was more contact than I was expecting. Some hard hits and team has a different feel about it. Ciraldo making a huge difference

Yes there was a fair bit of sarcasm in my comment. I would like to hope that Reynolds isn't next in line for the halves however lol.

Who played in the spine for the reserves? I think I saw a pic with Rajab at 6 and I assume Hayward was at 7. Brown possibly hooker and then Wilson or Papalii at fullback?

Burns n Rajab swapped in and out of fb. Hayward 7 Clarke n Brown shared 9 (Rajab is not a fb!) Papalii played bit of wing

A Team today in match sim with B Team.

Perham - very talkative
Kiraz - two offloads into 2 long range tries
Averillo - very quick. Rolled ankle but nothing serious
Alamoti - one good break
JAC - in 1st gear. Got a small knock
Reynolds - nice try assist to JAC otherwise average
Flanagan - looked better
Thompson - strong
Mahoney - crisp service
Patolo - finally runs like a man
Preston - I’m impressed
RFM - good
Sutton - better than I expected

Tries: Averillo 2, JAC, Preston, Perham and I’m sure I’m forgetting one more

Burton, Kikau and Pengai didn’t play. That will pretty much be our starting team round 1. Id say Brown comes in for Reynolds for the 14 spot.

Burns played 1 and rotated with Rajab towards the end. Rajab and Hayward starting halves for B Team. Waddell, Topine and Morrin in B team.

I think the club only views Rajab as 1/6. Burns at fullback is...interesting. Did Brown play lock or just interchanged at hooker.
