The effort was good, just too many errors...poor discipline let them down.
Just reinforces my opinion that the ISP need a real coach. They have a lot of talent, but play like a rabble. Thats poor coaching.
I would love to see Michael Potter take over this team.

They would have finished top 2 with better discipline but I still like them for the GF with the other boys returning

To win the title we have to beat the following 3 teams in order:

1. Wyong Roos
2. St George Illawarra Dragons
3. Penrith Panthers/Newtown Jets/Mounties

Watch the team stacking commence.

So effectively it's:
Bulldogs vs Roosters (Wyong)
Jets (Sharks) vs Mounties (Raiders)

https://www.nrl.com/news/2018/09/03/matt-frawley-closing-in-on-knights-deal/
The 23-year-old played his final NRL game in Bulldogs colours on Sunday after 31 appearances for the club but will feature for the Intrust Super Premiership side until the end of their finals campaign.
"There's a fair few of us dropping back and we're a chance of winning it so not on holidays yet," Frawley told NRL.com.

Hell yeah!!

I'd go with this side:
1. Bergamin (offers more punch from the back than Cerruto)
2. Carr
3. Olive
4. Harper
5. Reimis Smith (let him play the season out)
6. Lewis (would love to see him fine tune his game) / Cleeland (most likely)
7. Frawley
8. To'omaga
9. Woolford
10. Burr
11. Fine
12. Eastwood (valuable punch and can move into prop need be)
13. Martin (valuable goal kicking and adds a real punch)

14. Brown (cover for halves and Woolford)
15. Ogden
16. Nelson
17. Tualau/Garlick/Okunbor

Martin isn't playing lock and Eastwood definitely isn't starting on an edge.

The Canterbury- Bankstown Bulldogs Intrust Super Premiership squad will play the Wyong Roos in the second week of finals this Sunday September 9, at Jubilee Oval 7:30pm.

Matt Frawley will return to partner Josh Cleeland in the halves, while forwards Ofahiki Ogden, Greg Eastwood and Rhyse Martin also return for the semi-final clash.

Coach Steve Georgallis has also named Josh Bergamin in the starting line-up on the wing with Nu Brown shifting to hooker.

The Bulldogs faced the Wyong Roos twice during the season, dominating in round five 40-18, while Wyong came away with the points at Central Coast Stadium in round 12, 24-10.

The winner will advance to the preliminary final and set up a clash with the St George Illawarra Dragons. However, the season will conclude for the side who is defeated.

TEAM: 1. Mason Cerruto 2. Tom Carr 3. Morgan Harper 4. John Olive 5. Josh Bergamin 6. Josh Cleeland 7. Matt Frawley 8. Renouf To'omaga 9. Nu Brown 10. Ofahiki Ogden 11. Asipeli Fine 12. Rhyse Martin 13. Greg Eastwood 14. Zac Woolford 15. Lachlan Burr 16. Jack Nelson 17. Bronson Garlick 19. Jayden Okunbor

We wish Steve Georgallis & our Intrust Super Premiership the best of luck for the second week of finals on Sunday.

The game we lost in Round 12 to Wyong we actually lost 24-20.

That was the game where Nu Brown debuted at fullback and was absolutely on fire for about 30 minutes before dislocating his elbow and ending his game. Screwed up our backline as a result and we were never going to recover from it.

We should get the job done.

Will merge this thread in with consolidated NSW cup thread, but leave a redirection for a week.

Yea Lewis could have played due to limited first grade appearances but I agree, they are a good chance... they just need to limit the errors as they cost them last weekend
