We need to remove the knee caps of these guys.

But seriously, Isaac Luke scares me the most. On his day he can tear teams up through the middle.

is this basically full strength?
Except for Matt King. But I dont rate him anyway.

edit: he is also one of their captians. so possible excuse for souffs loss will be "we had our captain missing"

THey boast a great forward pack. If we win the battle of the forwards then we have won the game....its a very simple equation. Their backs are mediocre if their forwards aren't making any ground.

Barring Matt King, who broke his arm in the first finals game, I think that's their first choice 1-17.

McQueen is really a backrower filling in at centre, but he looked surprisingly good there against Canberra. I'd not be surprised if Hunt made the 17 in place of him, though.

It's all about possesion. Hasler has said it all year. Team with the most will win.

I wish king was in the side... he is a liability in defence and i would have thought that inu would have stepped him out of his undies. Mcqueen is alot stronger and quicker than king.

I'm more interested in seeing our team TBH.

the team looks like the real deal, forget about this they can only beat small teams talk

edit: no excuse for either team going in, referee excuse to be announced

Shane Hayne and Ben Cummings will be the refs.

I hope theyve got their testicles ready...

one looks like a pornstar and the other sounds like a pornstar so they probably have got them ready

Like you guys have said, that's us at full strength minus Matt King. McQueen was pretty good there last week though and has a hell of a leap. Tell Inu to get his jumping boots on. Merritt back is a big boost too - we miss his support play when he's out.

Balance of the forward pack is much better with Sammy Burgess being shifted wide and his brother doing the pig work from kick-off.

I'm hoping for a bench of:

Pettybourne
Clark
Tyrrell
Lowe

But I think Peats will be there ahead of Ben Lowe because Madge seems to love him.

Where I worry about us is Dylan Farrell trying to mark up on Josh Morris. That's a bit of a mis-match, and if you guys can get Josh some early ball, Dylan will struggle to stop him.

Bring it on boys!

We should flog that team but the refs will be sure to make it a close contest.

Josh Morris ran rings around Matt King the first time we played Souths in the season.

Their bench is their weakness and that's where they tend to clock off. If we can grind until their bench comes on, half the work is done.

The refs are a big worry. The last two times we played Souths we had a lop-sided penalty count of 2-7 and 3-7 against us.

The ruck is important, Souths rely on quick play the balls to Luke to feed to Burgess, Taylor and Asotasi on the advantage line. We need to be excellent in the ruck, good line speed and hit hard in groups of 3-4.

Spot on, the thing that worries me about this team, they don't give away cheap possesion like the old Souths, they are well coached and have good core of experience. The edges are better than ours, they have the likes of Luke and Reynolds using second phase to feed Sutton and Inglis as second recievers who have Taylor on the one side of field and now Sam burgess on the other side, these four players are each six foot 5 and 105 plus kilo and very mobile and quick and have ball skills as well. Our little guys like Reynolds, keating and Jackson will be targeted all night without a doubt.

The weak link is Sutton. If we pressure him with our defense and target him when attacking Souths will seriously have to consider putting up missing posters before half time. Issac Luke is dangerous And I fear that if we try too hard to slow down the ptb we'll get raped with penalties
