It's SBW's fault our lineup looked so weak in the first place. Back in the day, the money SBW was being paid was quite a large chunk of what was quite a small salary cap to work with back then with a lot more restrictions as well.

SBW leaving was a blessing to our club.

Nah I'm pretty sure we sacked Maitua at the start of 2009.

I definitely know Maitua played for us in 2008, so it's a bit odd he wasn't in the team photo.

Tsoulos was a bloody good prop but had the worse run of injuries at Parra. The 4 or 5 games he played for us were impressive. The rest of the 08 mob I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire.

Don't believe that for a second. Greenburg sacked Maitua.

Noad did no dirty work. He offered mediocre deals to some great players that we had no contingency plan to losing. He brought in Tsoulos to replace O'meley? Holdsworth to replace Sherwin? Roberts to replace Anasta? Greenburg came in in 08, identified the gap in our squad to salary and signed those free agents for 09 accordingly.
