We haven’t had a decent junior program in place for a decade

Our last 4 years have been putrid

Yes we have made some decent signings but they are a long way from being superstars.

We need to realise how far behind the top teams we are. The last round v panthers showed that.

If we make the 8 it will be a miracle . But miracles do happen

Yeah nah yeah nah. We should just take it one week at a time. If we focus on our game and not theirs we should stay focused.

it’s a long season and as long as we run hard, tackle hard and play for each other, the results will speak for themselves...

As a group we are tight, very tight.

I think we can win 10 games this year , especially if we can win 2 out of our first 5 games

With out a decent hooker and Half cant see us doing anything to special this year.
This is how I see it too. We are so light on quality players that any injury to the players we've signed will have us even worse then last year. 2022 should be the year we can hope to compete properly.

Yeah realistic.
No hooker, no 5/8 and a team that hasn’t played together yet.
If we are competitive it will be great. To make the 8 would be amazing. Not expected.

Smart move trent play expectations down then when we exceed them you’re a star
I still remember the famous words of Tim Sheens with the young Tigers leading into the 2005 Finals.

-They are still too young, we are just here for the experience.

If the trial is anything to go by Heterington looks to be our new Tolman? He seemed to run the dead plays in the 20m zone
The upside there is that Hetherington pulls in 3 defenders which theoretically creates space for attacking raids (the Cowboys and Storm do this best via Taumalolo and Asofa-Solomona) Tols would only attract 1 or 2...at best.
