Maybe the coaches have a bit of talk prior and say I'd like to work on my go to guys with combos, cohesion, attacking options etc and the other says I want to blood a few and it works out for both. Good side gets an easier run to try stuff out and the weaker side gets to see if there are any diamonds in the rough.
