Yes, except for the fact we generally played like absolute crap in the first two games.

I thought we played 'well enough' against the Warriors, but the Warriors also played like rubbish. Against any of the top teams in this comp (as at round 3) (Storm, Panthers, Roosters, Broncos) we would lose by plenty on a dry track.

Let's hope there is plenty of improvement in our team, or it's going to be another disappointing year.

Have to agree with the general sentiment, we were never going to defeat the Storm and Roosters... Defensively, the Storm were just too good against our style of play and the roosters were simply too mobile in the middle and their halves/backs combinations too classy. Some of our tries were opportunistic too in that Roosters game.

On a more positive note, we fought hard in those games and never gave up, that's extremely important to this football club.

Hopefully as the season progresses, we get better as s football team and challenge for a finals spot.

How? If Mbye had his kicking boots on and we defended the roosters kicks better we win that game. Their tries weren't much better than ours most were off kicks after we defended well all set.
