Lol. I'm not gay though. I have a Fiance. Not gay. :p

Seriously, to have him playing in the Blue & White is a tremendous honour and privilege. I also thank the club for not giving into idiots who wanted him sacked all those years ago. He is truly a Bulldogs through and through. Patten was my MOTM yesterday but for King Mason to play VERY well for 70 minutes with TWO injuries yesterday is inspirational. We (The Canterbury Club) are blessed to have someone like that pull on the Blue & White of Canterbury. He is a deadset, 100% pure un-cut champion.

Give that man a New.

I remember in the early days of Mason when he was still dropping off some tackles because he wasn't all that fit and people were calling for him to go elsewhere. Those days are well in the past now and the doubters would be very embarassed.

The big fella has justified the loyalty shown to him by the dogs and is a deadset Bulldogs legend now. Not only can he run like a battering ram, pass like a 5/8 and play for almost the entire game he also has an awesome fend these days. I was really enjoying seeing him throw tacklers off him yesterday. There have been some other clubs who have bought virtual giants into their squads but generally they won't take them any further than the preliminary teething period. (I remember a guy at manly who got hyped up bigtime because he was bigger than Mase and played 2 games and was dumped from their club). Hopefully in two years we can see Big Hickey competing with Mason for the best forward in the game awards but for now Mason is King.

I laughed when the commentators said they're trying to bring him off now and he waved them away with an annoyed look

Go Mason

I disagree with ball playing skills.. in 2004 he was constantly putting other forwards in gaps with his short balls.. something we miss
hes still doing it, and the great thing is he only does it when needed not just chucks it away for no reason!

Who cares about charge downs. They're good when they come off but they rarely do and just hand over posession back to the opposition.
p.s, Mason makes more metres per hit-up

Just read he has a corked quad which "may" put him in doubt for Monday's game.

Fingers crossed it won't

All that shows is that the Warriors rely heavily on Price. We rely on ALL of our forwards. Our stats are evenly spread. And if those stats are so great, why aren't the selectors choosing him for rep games yet Mason, along with Hindmarsh, is the first forward picked for his state and country?

I hate charge downs tbh. Price made a charge down in the Warriors/Sharks game and what happened? He gave the Sharks 6 more 20 metres out......

Yeah I saw that. Happened when the Warriors badly needed posession at the end of the game too.

Charge downs are a double edged sword and 80% of the time, you will get stabbed. (so to speak)

he is one of the first picked for queensland, ricky stuart said some rubbish about bringing in new guys and then selects andrew johns and petero civoniceva who are spring chickens!
