Hayze was a bit off in the All Stars, timing wasn't there and was throwing haymakers, but if he can get string a few games together for the Dogs I'm sure we will see more of what he is capable of. He's obviously doing something good at training anyway so I'm keen to see him get get a crack.

We are short a strike centre , fullback. Flanagan played decent today but will need to improve a lot to keep his spot. Other then that I think we have a strong side. I don’t think Averillo will last in first grade this year. You would have thought he’d have a real crack today given he lost fullback spot but was barely noticed. He doesn’t have it between the ears. Put Kiraz in the centres he jams in well on defence and proved he can play there last year

If you put Reynolds on the bench the only player he can come on for is Mahoney...Will Mahoney be playing the full 80 week in week out?

Than again the Panthers somehow fit in that mullethead Salmon on the bench with Luai, Cleary and Apin in the team.....

Brown offers the most versatility and that's what we need from the role. Reynolds MAYBE gets it if we had a stronger forward back and more versatility in the side.

I agree but we will make do with backrowers. Panther played games last season with only JFH, Leota and Spencer as genuine props.
