Quality depth will be very important in making the eight. I like what I see from our young players. Reynolds will be great value when Burton is on Origin duties.

The confidence lift just from having Mahoney is obvious.
Now just need to fix the confusion and hesitation being generated by Flanagan.

Extremely happy at half time. Preston looks the goods like reports from training. New Frank the Tank (Pele) looking like he's gonna be real value this year too. Enjoying the defence and line speed, back-up options in attack. No more sitting back lazy waiting.

Kiraz and Alamoti a bit quiet

Good signs from a lot of players but biggest thing....the defence. Only try they got was a rebound off the goal post in their favour. 1 missed tackle all half.

And Okunbor. No catch drops, no missed tackles, try, try assist. Mahoney looks like exactly what we needed.

Been great to watch! Im sure they are not playing hard out either. Imagine how we will be with our full squad!
