You can and should, if you land one early it means the other team HAS to score in the remaining time. They can score a FG themselves to level it up, which will mean GP after ET, but running out of time with pressure on that gets harder and harder. You want to be the front runner in ET, and cows had the chance and didn't take it.

Oh wow didn't realise that. So someone can smack a field goal, but the other team has extra time allowance to snag one as well.

So is this now 5 minutes at a time now until someone gets in front and stays in front for 5 minutes?
