Pretty straightforward, yes or no and why?

depends on the situation, not a fan of top teams loaning out their best young players, e.g. Harry Grant a couple of years ago, because it allows them to keep/stockpile young talent. I'm pretty confident (and at least a much higher chance) the Storm would of lost Grant if they weren't allowed to loan him.

To me it feels like it's cheating. Agree with other posters and rely on your reserve graders.

Yes but only for players who are waiting for a start in first grade and only for say a max of a 4 week period.

Clubs (ie Storm) should not be asking lower teams for their best players (ie JAC). Happy to send Okunbor but funnily enough they didn't enquire about him.

That’s a nope for me.
Reasons:
•Are they going to pay for the player’s salary for the game’s he plays?
•will they cover the costs if the player gets injured?

My thoughts are 2 points are as valuable at the start of the season as at the end, teams should not get loan players at the end of a season to help them out when teams with a similar struggle at the start of the season did not have the same loan pool potential.

money outside the cap isn't an issue, e.g. if a player is injured. They also pay a % of their salary, that depends on negotiations tho, some players would be 100%, some 50% (for the remaining games), depends on the situation.

To me if you play for a club you should put the club first until contract is up.

Yes, but with limitations.

Perhaps they can only be used up until finals, or for a maximum of 6 games?

I would love to see up and comers get a little game time in the nrl at the end of games with no cost to interchange and not included as part of the 17/18 should the club want to in situations where a result is already assured.

It would be great to have a system where young players could be blooded where there is less on the line and therefore less pressure.

Yes, but only before June 30 and not after...
The loan should also have merit, whereby either side could argue as to why it benefits them moving forward.

My answer is also maybe, the requirement being to scrap the salary cap/TPA system and go with a EPL style FFP system instead.

but in Nofa's situation it benefits him, the Tigers and the Storm.
