Rola use to make speakers here in Australia years ago. Alot of radiograms and Aussie made guitar amps ran Rola speakers and output transformers.
Unfortunately the arse fell out of the industry in the late 60's and along with component companies Rola fell by the wayside. Lorantz in Melbourne still have the Plessey/Rola dies for some of the speakers. I went there a few years ago to buy a speaker but dont know if they are still operational. Its interesting flicking through copies of old 'Radio and Hobby' magazines with addresses and adds of companies that no longer exist.
