If it’s his first incident I’m with you but this is the third. He doesn’t offer much on the field and he causes issues off it. I wish him the best of luck at another club but we’ve got pretty serious issues and don’t need more distractions.
like i said before, being a former player, if the team is off you and they have no respect for you, then its time to go.

I actually won't read it, I've gone through it and tbh if I had the choice as an ex-military man I would rather be deployed on operations then go through it again. Blokes like Idiot need to be driven into a forest and left there if you get my drift.
Sorry to hear mate. If two people are single and do something stupid like he did recently then it’s one thing but to ruin a whole lot of other peoples lives is a different story. Not to mention one day his kid will read all about his old mans antics.

I don't even care enough to read it. Meaney is going to the Storm so who cares what he thinks.
Yet people care what a departing Hoppa thinks, even though they don’t know what he thinks. They just think he thinks Elliott is a bad egg.

Problem is as I’ve previously said you, me or anyone else don’t actually know what really happened, it’s hearsay that’s why the club is doing their own investigation.

here’s another report of the incident.

Elliott a 'remoresful' teammate: Bulldogs

Canterbury fullback Nick Meaney wants Adam Elliott to stay at the club, as Bulldogs teammates offer their support to the under-fire forward.

Canterbury players have thrown their support behind a remorseful Adam Elliott, insisting the under-fire forward has mended his ways.
Elliott's future at the NRL club remains in the balance after he was kicked out of a Gold Coast restaurant after he and NRLW star Mille Boyle visited the bathroom together.
Boyle has since confirmed there was no foul play or drugs involved, and that the pair had snuck away for a kiss after having grown up together.
Regardless, Canterbury general manager Phil Gould reaffirmed on Wednesday that Elliott could still be sacked as he remains stood down pending an NRL integrity unit investigation.
Gould has also made no secret that the forward is paying the price for a multitude of issues, including a 2018 Mad Monday scandal.
"He's had his incidents off the field, but he has been very remorseful and really put his foot down in the past seven months," Bulldogs fullback Nick Meaney said.
"We've had meetings and everything in-house with the playing group.
"Jacko (captain Josh Jackson) has spoken to everyone. He (Elliott) has been very remorseful. He is just trying to keep his spirits up."
Meaney, who will head to Melbourne at season's end, said he did not want to see Elliott lose his contract.
"We have really seen a massive change in Adam," Meaney said.
"He has had a lot of injuries as well. Being one of our teammates and close mates you never want to see them go through that.
"Whatever the Bulldogs decide to do they will make that decision.
"Of course you always want to see one of your teammates being in the team and play the game they love and we all train so hard for."
Elliott's latest drama couldn't have come at a worse time for the Bulldogs.
They are in the midst of a nine-game losing streak, and face Manly this week after the 66-0 drubbing they copped form the Sea Eagles in round 16 was the Bulldogs' biggest loss in 86 years.
"It's never what you want going into a tough game against Manly," Meaney said.
"Baz (coach Trent Barrett) has challenged us as a group to stick together and gel a bit more.
"To ignore the outside noise and focus on our training going into Manly.
"It is tough, but we look at each game individually and we can see we're improving and we're getting closer to getting those results."
You sir, are a modern day hero!

Cheers man. It's the innocent kids who's lives are changed forever that get hammered. There's just no excuse for that behavior. True sign of a piece of shite person IMO.

Hi everyone, thank you for your messages this week.
A lot have been really supportive, which I’m very grateful for - however a lot have been disgusting.
I was at work on Monday when journalists started calling again and again. It was really uncomfortable.
Once I saw some of the stories I spoke to the Broncos who were great. I then spoke to Phil Rothfield who reported the truth when others weren’t. I also spoke to Karyn Murphy from the Integrity Unit (three hours before people started arguing about whether I should be interviewed or not). cc: Paul Kent.
After all of that, I left it. I didn’t want to fuel the fire. It had been embarrassing and exhausting.
Truth be told I have never been sadder in my life than I have been this week.
I’m sorry if I have disappointed or upset anyone this week, but I have tried to own things as best I can and get on with it. I told the truth straight away.
Millie ✌

Does the club really want some wanker floating around that clearly doesn't care about the struggles and the low patch we've been in. Infact the bloke himself has managed to maintain the poor imagine and press we've been getting. We're trying to change everything yet this guy who should be at the forefront of trying to rebuild this club couldn't care less. Actions speak volumes. Can't imagine Jacko likes this flog, destroys himself so Idiot can just shite the bed constantly. He just wants to keep making sure we got brought back down. Every time so he can get his dik wet. This guy's priorities is to blow a load over the club, his 500k paycheck, his team mates, there families, the fans and the sponsors. I've known a few blokes like this guy and they couldn't care less who they hurt just to get a root, just selfish fukwits. Yet the club keeps protecting him so what does this say for the people in charge? How to you stand there and preach culture and morals, sticking with eachother and buying into the whole plan moving forward when every c%nt is looking over there shoulder making sure dumhshit isn't tuning their missus. Just breads mistrust. Perhaps the boys club and not professionalism is still running this rebuild?
I'm glad Jacko doesn't behave like Adam.

Didn't do a lot wrong other than getting horny and entering the male toilets  Fair bump play on for her imo as i'm not aware of anything serious that makes this incident in isolation too bad, given the bubble they live in and by the sounds the shit she has copped it's likely something she avoids doing in the future..

Does Murdoch still own the Broncs?

That might explain why DT's Buzz is the only one who she says told her version of events (to minimise fallout for her and bad publicity maybe?).

Did she explain if its true whether an employee did in fact knock, get no answer, have to go retrieve a key, unlock the toilet door and they were still in there kissing?

Would have taken 2 minutes at least for the employee to go get the key...and they both expect their clubs to believe they were only kissing? and Elliott had his shirt off as he was escorted out?

When looking at our recruiting for next year, I think someone that likes to get loose on the grog is the last thing we want around the squad when culture is trying to preached to the following
Naden -cocaine
Vaughan- multiple breaches of rules
Dufty- breaching rules
Pangai- numerous off field indiscretions
This bloke is not the type we want influencing any type of player behaviour

We could have more problems hey :(

They'll be expected to be fit and proper representatives of the club as well.

And all of those players are looking for a second chance.... Elliott can find his second chance somewhere else

Three of them were told to find somewhere else to continue their careers which is exactly what we should do to Elliott. Maybe the change of scenery will work for them maybe it will work for him. But we can’t expect them to change their ways if we continually give this simple jack chance after chance.

Could be how they got there. Cabs and ride share are also off limits for NRL players in the bubble and the venue was a fair way from the Bulldogs hotel…
If that's the case then what about the other players & WAGS that were there?
