Yeah being in a losing environment doesn’t help but when the game is on the line that extra effort is what can win you games.
Like the Cronulla game.
What makes you think JMK doesn't put in effort though? Effort is only as good as execution.

Nah, that's too simplistic.....sure, attitude counts for a lot.....but maintaining motivation and attitude is clearly more difficult when you're stuck in a losing team environment. Put Smith in this team and watch his efforts go downhill at a rate of knots....and all the effort in the world won't help a young player excel in a skill based position. I haven't seen anything from JMK to suggest he's not an effort player anyway.
LMFAO bro please, enough!!!!

Funny how we seriously underrate players who have been hampered by our system, while seriously overrating players who have benefitted from Melbourne's system.

JMK has twice as much natural ability as a hooker than Brandon "Australia Post" Smith, yet we have people here who want us to throw 900k at Smith and are angry we re-signed JMK on chump change. Take Smith away from Bellamy and he'd regress faster than a St George player looking for an escape route from Paul Vaughan's house when the cops rock up.

Great to know Jeremy will be with us for a few more years.
Here comes the spin now we have missed the Cheese same as the spin when we missed SJ. Poor orchestration boys

He doesn’t run much from dummy half, he doesn’t threaten the line as much as he should.

Cheese goes better on a sandwich, but chalk is more useful if you're trying to solve the mysteries of the universe. Just ask a pre whiteboard physicist.m
Can't think or invent on an empty stomach
A full stomach makes the brain healthy in order to make the chalk / ink / keypad useful :tonguewink:

Plenty of food to eat that isn't cheese or dairy related. If a lactose intolerant physicist ate cheese for breakfast they might be too busy on the toilet to make the chalk useful :P

No, I've been pretty consistent....never wanted the cheese.
