This exact situation happens to me every week lol. My missus and her besty are both nurses (shift work), her boyfriend who has become a good friend works monday to friday and gets to bed regularly early.

They live 2 houses up and my partner will leave early if she has work or to take our son home and me and the wifeys best friend will kick on for a few extra drinks.

It goes a little bit deeper. My partner and I lived across the road from her besty in another town. The bestys bf was living 4 hrs away. The wifey got a job near to where her besty's bf lived and so stayed with him for a 3 months while we looked for a house, only coming home when she had multiple days off. The besty would come across the road and have drinks and dinner often with me while my partner was staying at her boyfriend's.

We used to send messenges and snaps to each other stirring shit and people in small towns will gossip so when any of us were asked we just said wife swap.

Can say I've only had this level of trust with only a handful of people and consider myself lucky to have such a good relationship and friendships.

Former NRL star Michael Lichaa will vigorously fight claims he assaulted his partner after he allegedly found her entangled with his former teammate.
Lichaa was due to face Sutherland Local Court for the first time charged with common assault, intimidation and malicious damage after an alleged altercation involving his partner Kara Childerhouse at his Connells Point home on Sunday.

Police will allege the violence erupted when Lichaa discovered his partner Ms Childerhouse kissing his former Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs teammate Adam Elliott on his porch at 4.30am.

Lichaa’s solicitor Sam Saadat and Ms Childerhouse attended court without him after he was severely injured when he allegedly punched a glass panel at the home and sustained significant cuts to his hand and arm.

“He has undergone surgery which has deemed him unfit for attendance at court,” Mr Saadat told Magistrate Les Mabbutt at Sutherland Local Court.

“He is pleading not guilty to all the criminal sequences.”

Ms Childerhouse and Lichaa in happier times.
Lichaa will now face a four-hour hearing at Sutherland Local Court on November 2, with evidence to be served by March 30.

The court heard up to three witnesses would be called to give evidence.

Mr Saadat attempted to apply for a bail variation and an amendment to the provisional apprehended violence order imposed for Ms Childerhouse’s protection but the court advised he would need to make a separate appearance at court due to time constraints.

So if that's the case, don't let him play FG for a while until he's completed some sort of alcohol rehab. At least that shows the club is trying to get to the source of the problem and help him. Again, a 10k fine achieves nothing.

Happy to leave it with the coach, players and club to decide but it better be dealt with professionally and with least impact on the club. He should come out and front the media like Pearce did, which will direct a lot of the attention back on him personally and not on our undeserving coach and club.

I’m surprised they even fined him 10k. I assume he’ll accept the punishment yet don’t see how he can even be fined by club. He can do what he wants with his own life
