Oh boo-fucking-hoo. FFS. Show a bit of spine and resolve and take it like a man. You get paid a shitload to take a dump on our jersey and then have a hissyfit when asked to clean out your locker when you get found out?! Be fucking glad you don’t get escorted of the premise same day of resignation/termination like at my work.

Leaving aside that they are still employed and paid by the club up to 31 October. So ‘character’ is the only reason they did this. OK. :-).
Mate, you always have a balanced view so this should not be any different. Its a Weidler fluff piece for sure but like all Journos it would have started with a comment from someone involved. The Picture handover is nice and I doubt they were turned out into the street, but if there is any truth to the locker comment coming before the last game its shows poor timing and choice of words by Price.

I love a good conspiracy so how strange was it that Tolman got injured in the warm up...

Forget all the other shit, in his role just like the players who have been let go he must be accountable for his actions and its not the first time Pricey has had his foot in his mouth.

Just sayin.

On a side note, I see tolman advertising himself again today in a fox sports news article...

Would not be surprised if he's behind the anger here.. I noticed some things throughout the year that suggested he wasn't happy with the club...
Sorry mate but if you know Tols you’d know he’s one of the nicest, most humble blokes there is and he simply wouldn’t do that. He’s very grateful for his 10 years at the Dogs and simply doesn’t want to retire yet but accepts reality that the club needs to move on to the next generation. Don’t let your dislike of the player colour your opinion of the man.

Bulldogs general manager of football Steve Price has reportedly put the players' group offside after instructing the clubs departing stars to "clean out their lockers" ahead of Canterbury's final match of the season on Saturday.

Amid a turbulent year at Belmore riddled by reports of infighting among club powerbrokers, the Bulldogs turned heads one last time when they announced eight players would not be offered a contract in 2021 ahead of round 20.

Alongside star playmaker Kieran Foran, Aiden Tolman, Marcelo Montoya, Kerrod Holland, Jack Cogger, Sauaso Sue, Tim Lafai, and Isaiah Tass are set to depart, as incoming coach Trent Barrett's cleanout begins to firm ahead of his 2021 appointment.

But according to Nine's chief rugby league reporter Danny Weidler, a heavy-handed edict from Price to his departing stars ahead of their 42-0 loss to Penrith on Saturday has rocked the club just as it seemed their torrid year was behind them.

"I'm hearing a few stories coming out of the Bulldogs in the last 24-48 hours, their general manager of football Steve Price has upset a few of the players," Weidler told Nine's 100% Footy.

"The players who are leaving the club were told at the captain's run prior to their game on the weekend to make sure that they cleaned out their lockers. It didn't go down very well with the players, the ones who are departing.

"He repeated that edict to them after the game as well. They put on a pretty bad performance the Bulldogs. They've really tried hard all year. I don't know how much that affected them or not but I do know that one of the key Bulldogs players who's going to be there next year has let his feelings known to Steve Price, exactly what he thought of that instruction.

"So, simmering tensions around management now off the field and some of the players in the club."

Earlier this month the Bulldogs were rocked by reports of infighting among the club's powerbrokers who had reportedly drawn battle lines between the franchise's leagues club and football operations.

At the centre of the feud are allegations that leagues club chair George Coorey was forced to bring in lawyers after chair of the football club, Lynne Anderson, attempted to have him removed during a high-level board meeting over claims of inappropriate behaviour towards female members.

Compounding the factional divide, club CEO Andrew Hill and football manager Steve Price are reportedly at loggerheads, with board member Paul Dunn stepping in to mediate the relationship.

100 %, but we need to take the target off our backs.
Can't agree more Baz, as a club we have provided the media with more than enough ammo to maintain their war against us , but the apathy and political correctness of the last two administrations has emboldened every fucking scumbag journo to write whatever shit about the club they like knowing they will go unchallenged. We are too busy destroying ourselves from within to protect the club and the fans best interest IMO

That’s fine mate but it’s no ‘fluff piece’ - it’s utter fiction the way it’s been blown up. The club have always handled departing players the same way.

Weidler doesn’t get a look in at the club, no one ever returns his calls. So he uses his Fisher Price pedestal to throw mud - end of.

Any ‘leaks’ I bet I know the source of disgruntlement and it’s none of the players...

We are not discussing Weidler being a"useless know it all fuckface", thats a given.

And I am not trying to be shit stirrer (although I do enjoy that past time), but are you saying you dont think Price said anything or you dont think it was poor timing on his behalf considering we were playing the competition favorites the week after handing Soufs their own ass..?

Baz you've presented the best summary.

Weezeler is a scumbag for sure.

But there is disharmony with Price's abrupt attitude and delivery.

We heard on another site on Friday that Tols wasn't playing and there's members on both sites on here who can confirm.

Many of the people who used to come on here don't bother anymore bc of these dumb comments of shoot the mssenger treatment when they have interesting info about the club.

This is classic Steve Price arrogance. Absolutely disgusting. The media yet again giving it to us, no surprise, but idiots like Price need to be shown the door. This is the problem when you let people with absolutely no knowledge of a workplace make decisions and speak to players about their employment. He isn’t an ER or IR expert, he’s a moron who’s mate got him a spot on the board.

No, he was elected to the board by the football club members. And he resigned to take up his current position. Stick to the facts at the very least.
