I originally liked the concept but the six again rule is just another massive rort. In extreme circumstances it can kill a team in the first quarter of a game.

Considering that Referees struggle to make consistent penalty calls how the hell are they going to make consistent six again calls on the fly? They certainly couldn't get it right in a grand final.

Yep & a player will get sent to the bin because they don't know what they are continuing to get penalised for. It's a VERY dumb rule.

I think it was Jonathan Thurston who said after the cowboys broncos game that the six again rule was only helping the top teams, that it gives them a huge leg up over teams that are rebuilding or struggling. Its been inconsistent even in this game today we should have had a few.
