Needs to toughen up a bit. But defence can be taught. The attacking ability can't. If we had a better overall team he'd probably have been allowed to work on it before his debut.

Any other team would target him attacking our line and 90% of the time they’ll get through. He is a weak defender and needs a lot of work. But attacking spark is there

Hopefully next year he's a better all round player in a somewhat settled squad that play in positions

Our fans can't appreciate talent and accept that kids need time to develop and improve areas of their game. They see players like Burton playing in a well drilled unit with quality all over the park and pump them up then shit all over our blokes playing in the side running dead last.

He wasn't great defensively but it's not as bad as some make out. We concede 3 set restarts in row with Manly charging through our middle and then fans complain because he can't stop a rampaging edge forward with absolutely no support in site.

Like I said there's obviously poor moments and plenty to work on, but defence can always be improved while genuine attacking spark can't.

Lewis can tackle so he is better, our win record with Lewis is better as well.
