Why would you bench Elliott?

Because his a great impact player of the bench … Elliot cant start nor play big mins in my opinion.

When he starts he gets concussed and when he plays big mins he fatigues and that's when the brain farts start.

Just been watching the caterbury cup match earlier this year averillo and harper we terrific both feed off each other great combination, thats what we dont have is player combinations.....

Yes he is the attacking coach but he is not getting the players he wants ,Dean is not taking the advice..

Yes he is the attacking coach but he is not getting the players he wants ,Dean is not taking the advice..

I would only be assuming George doesn’t get his way with selections so couldn’t comment on that reply. If that’s the case however with good governance would we be better of with a left field suggestion, Wayne to act in a offical role to mentor Pay to address these issues? Plus the bonus of a lot good young footballers like him may follow ? Instead flicking a past player in Pay and isolating his past fellow players causing the division we once had under Des ball

I agree but as pointed out yesterday I’m older. So I’ve learnt in corporate roles and experience most people want make write decisions! I believe Pay would fall into that category. But he needs a mentor a Bennett or Gould type. And the support around him below like a Cronk as a specialist half coach. Just a thought

Elliot was always an edge rower but Im thinking of so many contingencies if something goes wrong like Elliot head knock.. again.

Its a valid point about RT. If his playing on an edge he might go the 80, he use to pull some massive numbers through the middle in reserve grade , yes its a different game but im longing to see what RT can do on an edge.

Im also dying to see RT and RFM on the field with Napa at the same time but fluffy doesn't know how to use a fukn bench.

How did the band-aid of Jim Dymock go when Kev Moore was punted in 2011? He won 50% of games with a far better squad. So the obvious argument will be ‘50% is better than Pay’ and a whole bunch of others that are easy to trot out. The fact is Sacking Pay now will change very little, even if you shuffle some players into different positions.
How many times should the turd be polished and by who? It’s still a turd...
