Been trying to make some sense of this rumour. Only thing I can come up with is the Katoa situation.

As it stands it seems as though he won't be playing this year. Correct? So we'll be down a player. A hooker. Imagine we'd have more space in salary cap cause Katoa will be written off.

Or ... Foran is 100% gone at the end of the year and the club see Reynolds as a viable experienced backup for our youngsters.

These are the only two I can think of. Don't agree with either reason if I'm honest simply cause Reynolds is so fucking injury prone he wouldn't last a month a hooker. And I'd prefer to keep the much better player in Foran for another year or two

I know Wakeham, the article is a load of shit. There isn’t any player swap. The deal is we only pay 400k this year and a upgrade on 500k for next season for josh Reynolds. He is not playing in the halves, his going to play hooker with JMK on the bench. Wakeham and Foran are the halves, Lewis is training at centre.

Seriously, overlooking all the rubbish being bandied about, this might be a good result.
Wakeham and Foran as halves.
Lewis in the centres instead of Smith.
Smith back to wing.
Reynolds as hooker.
Averillo on the bench as insurance.
Unless the club is successful in signing someone else, this might be the best option.
