Meaney on the wing:

Can't score
Goes backwards out of dummy half
Constantly out of position
Can't defend in any position

Why the f**ck is he in this team?

This is the NRL not work experience FFS

My cat in the morning could break a Meaney tackle on the way to her breakfast

Players break through his tackle attempt easier than I break a kit Kat in half. He is shithouse

Don't think it's a case of him being too small, there are plenty of outside backs his size or smaller but to me his problem is he just doesn't enjoy physicality, looks abit scared to put his body on the line.

CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE
Now I was one who questioned Meaney on the wing, but I'll be the first to congratulate him on finally pulling out a great display on the flank.
Any positional change takes time to adapt but last night it looked like the penny finally dropped. He ain't gonna get a crack at fullback ahead of DWZ, so if you want first grade - drag your bottom lip off the ground & deal with the cards you been dealt. It looked like he finally come to terms with it last night & had a good hard crack.

Well done Nick, you played very well last night. Keep it up young fella.

Yes okunbor makes the odd error but in his last 1st grade game he had a blinder on top of the fact he gets 150-200m per game

Some interesting numbers for those who claim he can't break a tackle..

Meaney ranks 2nd in the club for total tackle busts with 42 (Hopoate is 1st with 49)
Meaney ranks 2nd in the club for average tackle busts per game with 2.47 per game (Hopoate is 1st with 2.57 per game)

I don’t know who’s doing these stats, all I see is Meaney either surrender or getting ragdolled.

At first I was against it. But tbh the last few games I've thought he has done well.

Set aside his try last week, I thought he did well. Safe under the high ball as usual helping out DWZ and first time I seen him when he wasnt dominated every tackle with the ball. He's been thrown in the deep end on the wing and is toughing it out. Dont know what the future holds for him but he's having a go and credit to him.
