I thought you couldn't sign players from other clubs till after Nov in the last year of their contract, unless released by that club.

In other words we'd have to sign him after Nov 1st?!?

Or did the NRL change that?

I think the rumours are about him joining us for the upcoming season which would indicate a release from Parra, I hope they are at least paying half of his contract for 2019.
This is a strange signing as we need a centre not a small fullback/winger.

We need a FB more than anything.. we have needed one since 2013.

He is too small, I have seen him get man handled in defence, he really needs to bulk up or work on his technique.

I have also seen him in real life. Incredibly small frame.

But, he is quick. And I mean unbelievably quick. Could be what we need to finish off plays or sniff around for offloads. He has played enough fullback I think to have developed the know how and instinct..so think of him as mbye’s Speed + better game awareness for cheaper.

If parra release then I’m pretty sure nov 1 is ok.

Surprised Brown don't want Levi considering he didn't want to release him last season and they also had big wraps on Starling... Oh well, Knights need a hooker.

Agree, but this should be his last shot. If he hasn't come good by now, he will never come good.
