IMO he's been superb for us in recent weeks since returning from injury and into the starting side.

Gotta admit he gets bashed around in this forum but his a player that you need in the side. He does the 1 percentage things other forwards lack. His defence is great and I’m glad his in the forward pack. Has experience and level head

Tolman is the reliable sturdy workhorse that anchors a good side. We often don't use his skills as we should. Tonight, he kept us on song when we needed a strong man to take the hit ups.

Could not agree more. Have always thought Tolman is a hard worker. Not flash but reliable. Has played 80mins several times too. Never understood why he cops so much flak and experience like his is vital in a rebuilding side.

Tolman is a toiler. One of those no frills players that just tucks it under the arm and runs. In recent times he's started to develop an offload, but there is nobody around to sniff them out.

Tonight he was brilliant.

It really isn't relevant in todays games. Your workhorse type forwards are now your Jacksons, Trbojevics, Arrows, etc. Tolman puts in the effort and constantly puts his hand up for work, but he just isn't the modern day forward.

I agree, he def does his job. Always there covering the middle, and ready for a hit up. It's not his fault with the forth tackle hit ups, he's just doing his job Lichaa shouldn't be passing to him. I doubt Tolman expects ball to be honest his just there as possible decoy to help following play and Lichaa continually passes to him.
