I fully back Pays decision to send him back to reserve grade to work on his discipline both with ball in hand and defensively. Hopefully he comes back better when he inevitably gets another chance. Man can definitely play.

So, reading in the Tele that there will be ANOTHER crackdown on the play the ball area tonight and the rest of this weekend. Two incidents by Souths in our game last week went unpunished; laying in the ruck, slow release, crowding etc will all be targeted. We have Perenara so watch for us to get absolutely flogged in this area. Find it funny that we were all calling for some justice from the refs last weekend where it was patently evident that the tactics Souths were using were exactly those......Georgie girl and his brothers a couple of the greatest exponents of it.Anything to slow down the play the ball and we are one of the slowest teams in that area anyway so we consistently get dominated.It was all the rage back at the beginning of the year when we had a million articles quoting Bernie and Todd as saying that it will be policed to the nth degree.Disappeared when it suited them in favour of specific teams...
