Siliva Havili might look at his options depending on what sort of game time he gets when Hodgson returns for the raiders. Havili is one of the form hookers at present. Having said that, I think JMK is going to offer more than Lichaa

What about the raiders fill in number 9? I actually like his service and his big and mobile for a hooker. I reckon we should look into him

Lol mate what makes him such a badplayer? You think jmk offers more?
Yes i do think jmk offers more and has a lot of upside. And we dont need to put in special wheelchair access to the training facilities if we dont get Farrah in.

No I don' think jmk is short term.i think he' tough and has the ability to be what we need.he just needs time.id rather give him some time than bring in a player that' at is at the end of his career that will make little difference anyway given where the team is at.
I liked the look of young Brailey for Newtown, i havent really seen him open up, but his service is crisp.

Farah's dominant style as a hooker will chock us into an undisciplined forward dominated play.

That style is notorious for,and revolves around, the numerous amount of passing and second-phase play, the forwards do between each other,in the lead up to a run.
Statistically Wests were ranked top for forward play passing, until Taylor endeavoured to change it.
That style requires two fast running 5/8s with a very good all round kicking game,to constantly hunt amongst the forwards.Cleary kept certain aspects of this style, but with Matt McIlwrick as hooker he reverted back to using the halves as play makers and 1st and 2nd receivers. This instantly improved Wests disciplinary record to 5.6 penalties per game on average, improving from the worst in 2016 to second best in 2017 in the league.

Laurie Daley approached SOO like a scientist coach and he introduced more variants of this style then a hooker changes clients in a Bangkok brothel.Daley penciled in and pre-selected his team based on friendships, months before the season started.Picking players without taking into account what their upcoming form would be and ignoring current form guides. One of these players was Farrah.

From 2013 to 2016 Daley persisted with an unusual elevated half as a variant of this style.Being accustomed to this style at Wests,Farah was like a pig in shit.
This style variant enables the hooker to play as a high half around the ruck, with intentions of alleviating defensive pressures put on the halves.Darting and running around the ruck, the hooker selects his forwards who try to promote 2nd phase to the halves, who quickly link with either edge.
Queensland countered by dominating and slowing down the ruck, thus restricting Farah's room.
Daley countered by smokescreening an inadequate edge, daring Queensland to increase the tempo of the game and run at the centers.

Phil Gould in 2016 during Origin 2,dismantled the Blues attack. He attributed the lack of finish to Farah not directing back through the middle enough and his ineffective running causing the forwards to run flat. After the 2nd phase play, once the ball is spread,it limited the blues to only score points in the corners. With Queensland's mid field defense intact,NSW moved from one side of the field to the other but failed to find an opening in the tight shifting defensive line. With the halves creativity reduced, they reverted to unorganized cross-field kicks that rarely found any targets.

After 4 years of strategic blunders,in 2017 Daley opted to play an open,free-flowing football and replaced Farrah with Nathan Peats. The aim was to consistently drive the Queensland forwards back using the mobile NSW forwards and tire the middle.Wade Graham and Jack Bird were to replace Nathan Peats at dummy-half during various stages of the game to achieve field position, pin Queensland in their quarter to restrict a deep backline forming and kick for repeat sets to tests Queensland defense line resilience.

Farrah can fit in our team, but not as a hooker but as a pivotal half. This would allow Foran to take on the line and get ahead of our forwards,Farah can then spread and unleash the ball to either edge.Foran can't do both! With Farah online kicking accuracy which is also incredibly consistent,we can sustain pressure,an area we are lacking in.

Yes I think he has every chance of becoming a very good hooker but even if he didn' I'd still rather give him the chance at it because of his age/toughness/ability.
And yeah sbw did do that at the rooster but Farah has no where near the influence or input that sbw has in a team or over a game.
Not sure about that

Cutting to the chase, he’s an absolute liability to any roster, he’s polarising & self-centred & burns Bridges’s- & that’s just how his closest friends & teammates describe him.

My step son coached against him in Sharks juniors. Thought to be a better player than his older brother by many who have seen him play for a long time. Sharks cant possibly keep both braileys as long term hookers. One of them will have to go elsewhere. Definitely worth a shot.
