I personally would do this for next year.
1.brad abbey young he's getting bigger and stronger
2.brett Morris
3.josh Morris
4.hoppa/brenko/Phillips/Stanley who ever is in form
5.montoya
6.mbye make him run instead of kick and pass only when needed to
7.foran
8.Aiden Tolman say what you want he's a great tackler and goes all day
9.Michael Lichaa seriously needs a kick up the ass other wise brown
10.aaron woods
11.Josh Jackson both Adam and josh are really good
12.Adam Elliott
13.David Klemmer with Aaron there these best mates will hype each other up
14.danny really good off the bench
15.james graham needs a rest will be a good impact player
16.renouf tomaga they signed him for 3 years so he should start soon this year and if he goes well plays next year
17.and now last this is gonna sound crazy but I would for 1-2 years sign willie mason I know he's old but he can still play and he would be a very good motivator for our team and show by example the old school bulldogs grunt it will be very useful for klemmer woods Elliot maybe graham and the younger guys and then have him as a coachig role for the forwards and maybe trainer if he is intrested

I really think this team could do something even with Hasler there they can cause serious damage

When you draw 3 or 4 players into a tackle the ***** have to offload and (I know lol) look for a quick shift to take advantage.

Wrong mate their is plenty on the forum who would do a better job than Des because they bleed blue and white unlike our current coach, at least Des admitted that Shawn White is a better coach than himself. Personally I would love the job of CEO I would do it only for the minimal expenses.

Quick plays from dummy half. Forwards charging the line at speed when they take the ball. Support players shadowing every charge.
Eliminate bombs, and kick low behind big wingers with a wall of defence following through.
Get up quickly after tackling opponents - often they are not ready for a quick play from a tackle - and we avoid giving away cheap penalties.
Grab hold of your opponents' arms in a tackle, and pull them off the ball. That is not a strip, and it prevents them passing late.
Stop trying to milk penalties - just get up and play the ball.
Keep passes short and crisp.
Get the backs involved the minute we are in opposition territory.
Near the line, get the forwards out of the way after tackle three.
Perfect a long range kicking game and look for 40/20s.

For a start, we will go to basics "Start Training " again. I do not think the guys have been training in the past couple years.

If I was coach of the Bulldogs the first thing I'd do is sack the coach of the Bulldogs. That guy sucks.

First thing id do is get the Club to focus on football, not PR.
Underperform your out, dont care how much of the salary cap you take up. Competition for spots does wonders to athletes.

a few games back, eastwood kicks on the 3rd with the game in a winnable position, when all we had to do was push up for a field goal.
fair enough mistake was made, you would like to think the team learnt from that scenerio and would run a smarter play the next time the same situation popped up.

so we get in a similar scenerio last night, good field position, all the momentum, enough tackles left to drive to the field goal.
instead of playing up the middle working for the field goal, our shit for brains spine sends it short side and elliot is easily herded to the touch line.

there is no coach on the face of this earth that can coach the stupidity out of our spine, these guys just don't have a clue where, why or how to run a play

Get someone at hooker who doesn't hold passes up till the defense is 5m off their line.
Get the halves playing a bit closer to the ruck drawing defense to provide the backs with space.
Recruit or promote youth as opposed to buying older players that can fill in. Youth brings enthusiasm.
Hire specialist coaches for key positions. Halves and goalkicking coaches these days are pretty important.
Find the best fitness and conditioning coach possible.
Teach players and their spouse nutritional value to help optimise their strength and fitness.
Try to weed out egotistical players, promote closeness for team mates. Look for players that might not necessarily be the most skilful, but who never give up.
Reward those who are performing in the lower grades of someone above them stops performing.

Get a fitness guru who can get the team fitter. Offload James Graham, Eastwood, jmoz, lichaa and try get rid of mybe. Recruit a better spine.

Drop players who underperform. Look at forcing repeat sets rather than negative bombs that make it easier for the opposition. Get a dummy half with speed who can pose a threat from dummy half. Get some faster backs. Let players play what is front of them. Get a halfs coach. Get assistant coach and actually listen to what they say. Practice goal kicking with goal kicking coach. There is probably more tweaks but this is a start.
