It was funny on debut Herman shat on fualalo. Must have been too attacking for Hasler who never played him again :p haha. 3 years on and we have fualalo still here while broncos picked up a wrecking ball for peanuts.
Didnt he get the sack because he couldnt be arsed going to court or something like that?

Like who? Barba went and failed miserably, I always read about the stars we let go on this forum but everyone gets recency bias because hindsight is 20/20
So true mate, Tim Browne is kicking on at Penrith isn't he and hasn't Idris started well at the Tigers, can't even make the 21 squad, Cook STILL warming the bench at Souths, Blake Green looking average now Cronk isn't holding his hand, Shaun Lane couldn't get a game at the Warriors etc.

Finucane is an example of one we should've kept recently and Ennis also (but that was tricky) but not many others...

I think he got a dui. But that wasn't until later on in the year? I can't remember. All I know is he had blinder. And next week he wasn't named. Then after he got done for drink driving was terminated with a few years left on his contract.

Moved to Queensland played a few intrust games and next thing is Bennett offers his a contract. The rest is history :p

Decent player though. Hard running hard hitting forward. Shame we only saw him for 20 mins in first grade.

I dont think he got sacked for the dui though (could be wrong), but I think it was because the club helped him out and then he didnt even bother to turn up to court. Then he got the arse lol. Either way he is going good.

Last night on NRL 360 Paul Kent mentioned how Bellamy sent Munster to Sydney in the off season to do extra work with Matty Johns. When Billy Slater heard that Bellamy sent Munster to Matty Johns, Slater went as well on his on accord.

Matty Johns is highly recommended by Bellamy and maybe Hasler should do the same thing with our halves.

Knowing Hasler he wouldnt do such a thing as its not his original idea or innovation

I would like the big name FBs, but if we werent to get any of them (which is likely) I would like to go for Jordan Kahu. He's a solid fotballer who can play anywhere in the backline and would probably be cheap.

Funny thing is under Moore we only had 6 fulltine staff (physio, trainer, conditioner, assistant coach, halfback coach (kimmorley), team doctor) under Hasler we have had no fewer then 10 full time staff (up over 12 some seasons) every season. But I cant really seem to recall us having any specialist to come in and mentor our halves (Andrew johns was doing it but he didn't last too long).

Matty johns has always been highly regarded at the storm. Would have been good to get someone like that involved with us instead of wasting money on psychologists and multiple assistant coaches :p

apparently a few NRL clubs are trying to lure these fijians over from french rugby. Obviously the money over there is huge but if we could snag one (especially the centre) he could be a big signing. pure athletes all of them, need some strike somewhere on the park. at the moment we have nobody who can break tackles and make some space

Weren't Dessie and Matty actually living near each other?

TBH a fucking under 10s coach could help out our halves. Got nfi what they do all day.
