our 6/7 are shit. simple as that. no more excuses.
Exactly you hit the nail on the head. They are dreadful. Nil creativity. We need a attacking half badly. We have the forwards and the backs to be a dominate side yet our halves cant link the 2 to be a force.
How long do you persist with a formula that wont win us a comp.?????

5 of the best NRL players in the world didn't run out for us today.
Without them our replacements tried hard but couldn't match it.
What did everyone expect - a miracle.
We should do a whole lot better against Manly.
There's always next week
every team has players out. the good teams still seem to lift and win, and even if they lose they don't get hammered like we did.
no excuses.

all those sidelined players aside, arent you concerned about why we kept finishing our sets with ball in hand? or the fact our "origin" halves have no idea how and where to kick? or that neither of them looked like taking control of the game? the game plan for today was: give it to williams and hope for the best.

im sorry ive been trying sooo hard to back our halves and have nothing against them personally but seriously this is getting beyond the joke.

and why hasler puts our best half in mbye on the bench towards the end, ill never know.

Michael Lichaa needs to stay on the field fr 80 minutes. He is one of your moist impressive players. Drop Hodkinson, move Reynolds to half and keep Mbye at 5/8. PLEASE. If Des mainatins the same team, structure and tactics next week he is a fool.

Everyone is persisting at focusing on Hokkos form, but at what point does the focus rightfully get switched over to Haslers incompetence to continue to pick this heavily over rated, under performing halfback.

If hokko starts against Manly we will lose again.

Perhaps losing to Manly will be the final straw for Hokko???

Stanley injured again.

Lasted all of 78 minutes.

....

We'd better buy some players during the week and NOBODY from NSW Cup is worthy of stepping up.
It concussion he had a knee into head

Everyone sings the praises of the Dogs forwards. There big strong and uncompromising. Well guess what. They got dominated today. They are very pedestrian. Not one of them really made any ground.
The defence was too much for them.....

We have the best fans in the world , cause only we have endured the frustration of watching our halves get owned week in week out. We put up with this every week. We watch our halves nullify any attacking potency our team may have with their poor chosen and even poorer execution.

well five of our bandaid forward pack ran for over one hundred however only two of their first choice forwards did, even though there were two of our forwards out for some of the game

seems you're an intense researcher

They will for sure, right now they are just riding their high and getting lucky with results, the draw and how other teams show up to play (injuries, suspensions and etc) much like the Broncos.

Look at our draw and compare it to teams like the Dragons and Broncos our draw is hard but it gets you ready for finals footy not versing shittier teams.

Can't even watch anymore!!! Under 12 stuff!!! I'm going to say it, Des u dumb **** can u not see our halves (especially Hokko ) ain't cutting the mustard!!! Pretty ordinary when a young guy like mbye has been our best half!!! Something has too change, First sign of madness is doing the same thing expecting a different result
That is exactly how I felt! Excellent synopsis Coach.

Forwards done their job! Tolman +200m, Williams, Jackson, Pritchard and Brown all +100m....

Just lacked the creativity in our 6 and 7 to get across the line... mind you the 4 or 5 times we were held up does speak volumes of the Dragons improved defence.

This, even our forwards that got a run in fg did there job, our lack of attacking options was shiiiit!!! I think we made1600 odd metres!! Can't blame forwards
