He must have destroyed it, that's normally a 4/5 week injury

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs can today confirm both Tim Lafai and Brett Morris will face lengthy stints on the sidelines after suffering injury in the match against the Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium last Friday.

Centre Tim Lafai left the field in the first half after being tackled by Tom Burgess and Chris McQueen in the 31st minute. Scans revealed a medial ligament tear and the Campbelltown junior is now facing an 8 week stint on the sidelines.

Fullback Brett Morris is also facing a forced period out of the game after grabbing at his left hamstring in the final play of the match. The Kiama junior has had scans and is looking at 2-3 months on the sidelines.

Looks like Lafai has a grade 3 tear on his MCL by going off this info hopefully it doesn't require surgery and the rest of his knee is intact and it can heal properly if not surgery will be required ruling him out for longer periods.

With B.Morris all I can speculate is probably a strained hammy or partial tearing in one of his 3 muscles that make up the hamstring.

Regardless we will be without our strike weapon for most likely 3-4 months as there is recovery time and physio/training required to get them back up to scratch.

A big price to pay for Borris. He saved a try but the game was already lost. fmd what a terrible day Friday was in so many ways.

They keep it in a brace 24hrs a day. They may operate just to speed up the process.

SOS Loko? Maybe Rona to centre and Stanley and Thompson on the wing. Perret to fullback. Then when stanley inevitably gets injured bring loko in

Surgery is only done if it won't heal by itself which is very rare with a MCL plus they have those special H20 ice machines or what ever they are called that rapidly help with healing (cool piece bit of tech).

If the responsibility is on James Graham to not make contact with Grahams legs, then whoever tackled Lafai has the same responsibility not put him in a scorpion position. The guy is out for 8 weeks, due to say an accident, then why is Graham being suspended.

Our next 8 weeks look like this:

St Merge (Away - ANZ)
Manly (Home - ANZ)
Tigers (Home - ANZ)
Cowboys (Away)
Rorters (Home - ANZ)
Raiders (Away)
Bye
St Merge (Home - ANZ)

I reckon we can win the majority of those - perhaps 5 or 6 from 7.
