Interesting to see if Afu makes toyota cup side of the year next year then

Kite is a tremendous player

Miles ahead of Paki who is only good for 5 mins

TAUPAU IS THE ONE WE NEED TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT

Paki is still learning the ropes but has potential. He showed that during periods this year and gained more match fitness compared to late year when he was only on for short stints.

He is still eligible for NYC next year and will be interesting to see how he goes during the off-season

Kite has awesome potential and went great in toyota cup last year... Just needs development and patience...

It takes time to develop into a good prop, Hannant was a dud a few years back in 2006 with the Roosters but improved out of sight within a couple of years at the Broncos, you need a to give a young prop a couple of years in FG to develop.. we didnt show Kite patience, cant believe we let him break his contract...

It would have been worth persisting another year at least with Kite..

From what I've heard on the grapevine, Kite was let go due to his less than impressive commitment to training with the rest of the side.

No doubting he had impact with Leano in NSW Cup, but I'm unsure how he'll go on his own.

Agree, Tapau has the most potential. We must hold onto him.

For those who say Kite is one dimensional - did you see his chip and chase in the NSW Cup grand final? He's a big loss and will be a hit at Melbourne.

And as for Paki only being good for 5 minutes - Fui Fui was just the same not long ago. It takes these big guys time to find their fitness and Afu has enormous potential.

LOL cause that's the sort of extra dimension you generally look for in a prop.:p

It's interesting that we persist with players like Hickey,Holdsworth & Roberts for 4+ years to give them an opportunity to show their best, but the minute this kid who is a dyed in the wool Bulldog, doesn't show enough in his first year of reserve grade he's shipped off.

you guys are missing the point here, he asked for a release, we did show patience in him.
he gets smashed every time he takes the ball up, he is another leanno, big but soft.
he is no big loss

Dont forget

To add to Moi Moi's point of fitness, Asotasi could not string 15 minutes at one stage. And now look at him

how do the roosters manage to keep under the salary cap when every day you hear they have contracted someone, or are about to contract someone.
i would have thaught a great deal of their salary cap would have been taken up in rehad and alcohol awareness programs.

Fitzgibbon > gone
Omeley > gone
Mason > gone

This in itself is easily $1 mil on their salary cap

I rarely bother to contribute anything to this forum. And I have never posted anything about Gary Warburton. Have you no more original thought than to just lash out for no reason? You sound like an imbecile - get a life.
