hey all!

just a quick question - are drums still banned @ ANZ Stadium?
i remember reading peoples' posts about how there is no atmosphere @ ANZ and was thinking that maybe bringing back the drums would give the atmosphere a boost?

your thoughts?

ovcourse it would. and bring back the massive banners as well..

Noad pushed it way too far with this drum flag boycott.

imo we should write a formal letter to greenburger asking to give up the ban for the benefit of the atmosphere.

Excellent idea. Im sure Greenburg wouldnt be hesitant to bringing them back. Afterall, our games are lacking numbers. Use this as an example as to why bringing them back is important.

Im willing to help write something up if you can all give suggestions.

Just mention that marole amongst the fans is a bit low atm, and bringing back the drums and banners will hep lift the spirits and bring the atmospere back.

Just mention Godberts. I'm sure Furburger would move heaven and earth if you dropped his name:grinning:

True, and lifting the restrictions will help make that happen.

the atmosphere the bulldogs had a couple of years ago was the best atmosphere any team has ever had..

people envied us mainly due to all the support we could generate for the team.

I used to live in Newcastle back then, and could rarely get to games. It killed me that i couldnt be apart of that back then, unfortuantly ppl dont want to watch games in an empty stadium.

i blame all atmosphere issues with all teams solely on gallop

he is an idiot. he is not an innovator or a pioneer. he is just there due to a show of hands

Pathetic useless man.

Only because of bandwagon supporters. The real supporters come out when we are in 13th not 2nd.

what contributes to making the team come 2nd?

if i am not mistaken, weren't the bulldogs always very good contenders for the premiership for a number of years

i honestly believe atmosphere contributes to a teams performance.

the team are football players but they are also entertainers. if there is no one to entertain and show off their skill their performance will not shine
