Cervical cancer is due to changing of cells which is caused by HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) - a virus which 80-90% of sexually active people have, most of which lies dormant. There are many strands of HPV - some change the cervical cells, others produce genital warts, the list goes on and on and on.
