Few reports in the media about Nrl clubs wanting him (Asiata), looks like it would be for 25 though as he is still contracted for this season. He is their captain and easily their best player so they will offer him plenty of money to stay, and he wouldn't be cheap. As he is the captain you would think it would be impossible to get him this year. He is also a hero over there tacking them from relegation to wining the challenge cup (a mid year playoff tournament) and making the semis in the Super League 2023...Highly doubt he leaves....

I think he’ll play some FG probably off the bench. Save us having to blood a young kid who is not ready. Sutton doesn’t sound like he will play much footy this year.

Happy with this. One year deal would have been cheap. It’s a smart signing which has no impact salary cap moving forward hopefully he can add something on and off the field
