A lot depends on Barrett

Also if Flannagan is playing we won't be getting into the 8 at all. Anything short of a massive overhaul will be redundant and if Barrett persists with the same game plan of making the HB the focal point of attack and then sticks Lewis/Flannagan/Averillo there then Burton will be starved of ball and we won't be going anywhere.

I can see us making the 8 if BBO takes the HB role and Burton is the dominant player. Averillo again has qualities that we could use at either centre or FB

Yep the draw does have a fair bit to do with it. Look at the first 6 rounds of the season. We had 3 games we were never going to win and 3 games we had a chance in.

Never winning v Panthers, South’s and Storm

Chance against Knights, Broncos and Cowboys

The top ones were all played at home. The bottom ones all played away.

Hate to be negative but I’m struggling to see any better than 14th without a proper halfback and hooker for 2022. Losing thommo would make us even closer to last.

I think we’ll finish 10-13 too much talent to not come off the bottom of the ladder but not enough to challenge yet all will depend on the spine if burton and Dufty can’t fire we will struggle

I went 13-16 as I'm not making the mistake of being optimistic again (not yet anyways). We have the making of the team to do better then that but the biggest factor for me is Tbaz. I've seen nothing to suggest he can do anything so a massive question mark there.

5th/8th or 8th/12th. All depends on the draw and whether Gus dies done shadow coaching. Barrett is hopeless.

Between 5-8 and I’m leaning towards closer to the 5th mark. Anything else will be a fail. Look at the roster overhaul!! Rep players all over the park. BUT this is all depending if Flanagan is the halfback. I think we need a 9, but more importantly an experienced half. I heard they are giving Barrett until round 10 next year.
