Can anyone tell me please as a fan that loves our team but knows nothing of the politics.Is this serious and if yes what's the problem and is there an easy fix

It starts with the roster and being competitive. It ends with the roster and being competitive. It's the only way. When that's sorted, the rest will be sorted or at least gradually improve.

Just winning games and being successful on field is the big one. The politics are always going to be part of the club. They have been there in the good times and the bad times they only get magnified in the bad times though.

The current problem will sort itself out in the next few weeks and somethings could change depending on who wins.

All I can tell you mate is that all the politics off the field is about the individual players and what they feel they are entitled too.
With great respect to the past it’s not going to be relevant to the clubs future success

No easy fix.. Actually its more complicated as many longterm membwrs that were happy to remain on the sidelines or in background now want to be 'active'..

the chance for peace is well & tryly over since dirty piblic acvusations made.. this will be get very ugly and very dirty unless one party steps back or steps down completely..

Therell always be politics. Different people with different ideas. They do well they stay and if not, theyd be voted out.
The timing this time is not good though. When the club needs to recruit players.
Itd set a bad precedent too, i.e. someone can organise a call for egm when they dont agree with the direction the club is going.

Management needs to engage with all sides. Example. If building a new room in the house you get you wife’s buy in and compromise.
build a competitive side. We stopped doing that but have made good choices. With Barrett and his staff.
place together a real plan for 1,3,5 years. But as per point one get buy in. Make it live buy reporting to key steak holders what has been achieved and what hasn’t and why.
treat sponsees as family. Get there buy in. Engage with the main ones on plans, events at there business. And have them mentor our players ie if a player is at uni doing physio set them up with one our physio sponsees to help. Win win. And bye in from sponsees.
tue the package together. Stop with the secret society and divide. We move forward together as a family we leave no one behind

Also don't sign a bunch of mercenaries like Newcastle did. I don't want a quick fix to scrape into the 8 only to get battered. Build some foundations to become a top 4 team who play good attacking footy.

I agree. But some the best ceos these days aren’t dividing and conquer approach any more. As people don’t comply to that approach and they leave taking resources from the company. They treat it like a family. If one you kids is a stuff up do you brush them or support and get help when required. That is the approach we need to take make it a family again. But bring all in

I worry about agendas here, there was a story about the board stoush almost everyday this week...why... who's gives a fuck, why was it news. I am a member and don't care obviously I want them to sort it out but why is it being played out in the media making us look shit. Is the.media and the nrl trying to beat us down for some reason...a move to QLD perhaps.?
