Honestly getting sick of people saying Ciraldo is inexperienced and doesn't know how to man manage properly. Please stop ignoring where he has spent the last 10 years learning his trade.
He is trying to introduce the same standards as Penrith who have been the best team in the NRL over the last 2 or 3 decades. All his ex players speak highly of him as a man manager and defensive coach.

So he comes to the bulldogs and tries to copy what's been successful at his previous club and put his own twist on it only to find out after a few months that majority of our players are soft as shit and lack hunger for success. And as soon as he tries to toughen them up and push them beyond their limits they want to bitch and moan and chuck tantrums. Well what is CC supposed to do now ? Let them run the club and his reputation into the ground ? No , You fuck them off and try to sign players that are willing to work as hard as he expects them too.

When you hear the likes of Cameron Smith , Trent Robinson and Josh Morris supporting what Ciraldo is doing while the Telecrap were bagging him you know we are on the right path
Hit the nail on the head.

Whoever is old wrinkle ball Buzroth leak needs a stoning too. Gus would know who it is, probably the trouble with member driven boards. Always someone trying to rock the boat.

Until we start winning games consistently the media won’t leave us be and the hate towards Gus and Ciraldo subside.
Have they been perfect no, but I hope whatever they are doing starts sticking and we win games. I’m sick of losing

Many failed head coaches did long apprenticeships under quality heads beforehand

Its a v different beast being the top dog in charge. Especially at a club like ours atm. Which is why it was crazy to sign Ciraldope

They can't all be as good Phil Gould and win a comp in their first year as a first grade coach
I remember very well the criticism he was copping for being a 1st grade coach and good percentage of players older than but he had thier respect this in a age when most coaches were in thier 40,50s. IMO Ciraldo didnt do this last year there were a few players who played for him injuries etc didnt help.

Most don't have evidence of anything and it's just fans blindly siding with the club on everything vs fans that don't.
Club first! Get that!!

Not seeing evidence from anyone, just fairytales :tearsofjoy:

Phil Gould has crisis meeting with exiled Bulldogs captain Raymond Faitala-Mariner

Unwanted former Canterbury club captain Raymond Faitala-Mariner has held crisis talks with Canterbury boss Phil Gould just days after being told to stay away from the club.

This masthead was sent a photo of the emergency meeting between Gould and Faitala-Mariner at Canterbury League Club on Saturday morning after the pair were captured deep in talks by a member of the public.

Faitala-Mariner was accompanied by his agent Ernesto Santone. The forward’s distinguished hairstyle made him easily stand out at the club’s headquarters.

The get-together occurred less than 48 hours after the 30-year-old was told to stay away from training despite the rest of the squad starting pre-season training on Friday.

Faitala-Mariner has severely fallen out of favour with the club hierarchy just months after being trumpeted as club captain.

He was given permission to leave the Bulldogs when he was free to talk to rival clubs in September. However, he is yet to find a suitable alternative with two years remaining on his deal worth about $400,000 a season.

The RLPA are expected to intervene if the situation between the Bulldogs and one of their most experienced players cannot be rectified.

They have sought further information surrounding Faitala-Mariner’s treatment. He made 14 appearances for the club in 2023 and has been a mainstay in the top grade since joining the Bulldogs midway through 2016 from the Warriors.

It is understood the relationship between Faitala-Mariner and the club became strained after he raised concerns over training on behalf of some of his teammates.

He played his last game for the club in round 21 against Penrith but has been unsighted since.

While Faitala-Mariner was a big-name absentee on Friday, a host of players including Bronson Xerri took part in their first training session as a Bulldog.

Fellow new recruits including Stephen Crichton, Josh Curran, Kurt Mann and Drew Hutchinson will filter through training in the next few weeks.

Gus looks thrilled to be there. lol
Looks like RFM still wants to be a dog, loves the club but getting told "New and hard standards in place, no free Jobel's for sooks" :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

I know no more than anyone else, but the fact that he’s been on the market for 3 months, no other club wants him and now he’s groveling to Gus, tells me my gut is right.
Please share.

You mates with Gus? Did Gus tell you he was grovelling?

How do you know RFM is a Shitcunt? You mates with him?

Couldn't you explain the injuries on a difference in training regimes? It seems pretty well documented that our boys weren't used to being pushed beyond the edge, perhaps CC simply pushed them too hard?
Boys are not use to hard training. Glad we are moving in the right direction!

Old dogs days, players were pushed, if they broke were told "You are not a Bulldog!" I want that back!

So we want to win or have soft cocks in the team?
