its not a bad list, apart from 1 clearlyover paid player the rest is fair we have had a decent stable team just lacking a "rockstar" fullback

I think you're giving him too much credit. Bmoz is only here because of his brother, Hoppa and Williams because of their connections with Des and others like Inu and Perrett also Des' choices.

Remove those and most of the others are fringe players who we took a chance on and most haven't/won't work out.

Is Crusher the ONLY one who is there to spot/chase talent? Surely not.

The recruiting is the easy part, its the coaching and selection which is where it sinks or swims.

I would say the only outstanding signing on that list is Curtis rona. The other good signings being Hoppa and RFM.

Pretty poor list actually, didn't think it was that bad. As stated above, Jmoz got Bmoz, She-rex and Hoppa due to Des, Perret and Inu had no other choices, Lichaa is being held back and Rona was/is good.

Brennan and Frawley had high hopes for those two... Recruitment is poor tbh. At the time however Maitua and Thompson were very handy signings. Other than that Rona and the like are the only real standouts... Rate his effort a B-

Since Des took over we've had a team stacked with origin players and nz internationals and the cap has only increased recently so we haven't really been in the position to go for some massive signing like everyone seems to expect.

Mullholland did a brilliant job. End of 08 brought in Stagg Hannant J Moz Ennis Kimmorley ... did a similar job with Raiders

The problem with this statement a number of other clubs recruitment has left us for dead

Yeah but we have a relatively established side especially in the forwards its hard to compete recruitment wise with clubs that have been sitting outside the 8 with average rosters and have the cash to spend.
