'Twas the night before the big dance, when all through the dog house,
Not a Bulldog fan was stirring, not even a shout.
The Canterbury flags were hung throughout Belmore with care,
In a hope that Des Hasler's men would bring a premiership back there.
The Kennel were nestled all snug in their beds,
With visions of the Burgess brothers getting smashed, in their heads.
And Inglis dropping high balls, and playing real crap,
Adam Reynolds never getting settled as he gets lost in attack.
Dreams of Graham charging up the middle causing havoc,
While his partner in crime, Tolman, also making Souths panic.
Away a stepping Lafai flying like a flash,
Going past the turnstile Keary as he goes for a dash.
But all those so called experts seem to know,
That the Bulldogs will be a no show.
The Johns boys and the rest of the media fear,
That the boys from Redfern at halftime will be drinking their winning beer.
But look at the Doggies forwards, so big and quick,
They will be even more determined now without Mighty Mick.
More tougher then nails, warriors not after fame,
All ready to fight for each other let's call out their name.
Go Graham, Tolman, Mick's replacement too,
