In fairness Mooney has much more experience. He has played 44 cup games, 8 nrl games, 3 nrl trial games and playing for maori all stars... vs Todd who has played 14 cup games and 1 nrl trial game... so it's near on impossible to say what Todd's stats will look like with another almost two full seasons under his belt.. you'd expect him to improve though.

Didn’t Gus say that they would promote from within to replace Harrison? Dont think Trey will be here this season.
He did say that, but Sir Gus speak with forked tongue. He could have easily meant for rest of 2024. Mooney could be in our sights for 2025.

I just gave the stat's, up to you what you want to interpret from them. Mooney is NRL ready now.

It's been speculated in a lot of places. I'd say fits the mould of someone Gould would go after. Gus denying it doesn't mean much either.
Exactly speculated. No facts are presented here 99% of the time about what is actually happening in the office of Gus.

His yardage is ridiculous in Cup. Like 190m a game or something unreal. Yes big step up to NRL. Gus always says what ever the stats are in Cup they are halved in NRL. But young kid so you think he will get better over the next 5 years. Would have to be on par with Spenny at the same age no?

Only thing that I see that is a little concerning is he does miss some tackles. Compared to say NAS or other successful props from good systems they just dont miss average around 94% completion. If this kid is missing 3-4 a game then our hooker is missing 6-7 a game it might leave a few gaps in our middle. But will defenitley improve our stocks if true and help with out success time line which may be 3-4 years before we "peak" hopefully.

Shilling was a Bob and Florin 2 Bob?
