He has been named on the bench for the Broncos this week.

Interesting to see if he still has it.

Joke of a club.

I would LOL if they don't make the top 8.

Why is bringing back a great player such a joke?

QLD did it, and they won them the series. NZ have done it this year with Stacie Jones.

And Darren Smith madelike 3 comebacks

True Rugby League fans will enjoy watching a veterin like Carroll run around again.

It's funny that they are scraping the barrel.
Fair enough.

It was even funnier last year when we bought Joe Williams and Nick Youngquest and they played in our 1st grade team.

I predict Grandpa Caroll will take to the field with a walking frame.

I also predict he'll be injured within 4-6 weeks and go for the season.

Great work!
First thing CEO Clowen has done!

Tony Carroll is a champ and I will enjoy watching him play again I was very much of the opinion last year that he was retiring too early because he definitely still had it and was playing well, I hope he comes back on fire and shows some of the current pony's how to do the hard stuff!

Lockyer had his best game last week and was one of the best following up just 4 days after a great showing in Origin to those who bag him over one game are kidding themselves he's a legend in every way possible, defines champion player!

Ah well "desperation" or what ever some want to call it, I seriously do not care, fact is defense is a weak spot bringing back a great player is not desperate really he shouldn't of retired last year to begin with but I'm glad he's back with him Folau and Hodges all back in the team next week I'm expecting the boys to put in a big performance which will be a 4 point win with the rabbitohs after the Origin if we win that as well then we're all but guaranteed in the top nine from then on it's a matter of winning 2-3 / 8 games!

Can't wait for the next game :grinning:

how much is he getting

i doubt he will make a huge impact
LOL. Who cares how much his getting.

They'll never say it but it's quite obvious they're bringing him back to show his sh!t team how to defend and to protect Lockyer.

Thonie Tharroll will hold Darren Lockyer's hand in defence.

This is how you tackle, Darren. GOOD BOY! You tackled him. High five for Darren. YAY!

Carroll still has it. Won't be like the Carroll of old but will still make great defensive impacts throughout the game.

He retired too early. Will his body be able to get back into it tho?

Hated him, will admit he was a great player tho
