We could go 6 points clear of spuds with a game in hand. Spurs have played 31 games - would mean we need to scrape 5 wins from our remaining 8 to guarantee top 4. Realistically though, probably 4 wins and a few draws will get us there.

Tottenham and Toon play each other next, then we play Spuds away. Big couple of weeks

The club needs a stadium upgrade and has a decent amount of debt. The Glazers see it as a cash cow - invest a decent amount, take a lot more out. They’re soulless investors who have no love for the club or its history.

By selling a minority share - they can get someone to partially pay off all their debts, stay in control and continue to leech off the brand.

Furthermore - they are playing the waiting game with ETH. He’s already one a minor trophy - and can potentially claim more silverware this year. By waiting- it could potentially drive up the value if we go on to win some titles, and lock in CL for next year.
